  • Software Lead

You understand the power of great architecture, but you also enjoy pounding out lines of code. You know your way around efficient firmware, but you are also enthusiastic about the potential of clean, structured data to drive medical research and innovation. You have a high bar for quality given patient lives at stake, but you also understand the importance of moving quickly with small teams as a start-up. You are comfortable with coding in both embedded and cloud-based environments in regulated industries that require unit testing and good documentation. C/C++ and Python are languages you are fluent in and you can introduce other languages where needed. You are ready for your next challenge and want to transform the future of brain care.

  • Senior Mechanical Engineer

You think in 3D. You enjoy the end-to-end product development process from early sketches, to designing in Solidworks, to prototyping and optimizing for manufacturability. You are just as comfortable calculating a tolerance stack as setting up a production line. You enjoy the satisfaction of working with your hands, but you also recognize the importance of good documentation and repeatable processes. You have the drive to operate independently, but also enjoy mentoring junior team members. You are ready to leverage your experience designing medical devices, assembly fixtures, and test equipment to introduce a novel device to reduce long-term brain injury, improve life for neuronurses and advance neuroscience.

  • Materials Coordinator

You enjoy keeping things organized and up-to-date. You appreciate the variety of mixing in hands-on parts management, alongside supplier follow-up, and database transactions. You are comfortable working with external and internal stakeholders: suppliers. logistics, manufacturing, finance, etc. You may have experience as a buyer planner or inventory manager and are looking to take on a broader range of responsibility. You are comfortable in a fast-based start-up environment where you will often be the one creating the processes and writing the procedures. You are known for being flexible, but will also hold the line where patient safety and regulatory compliance is concerned.

  • Software Engineer

You started coding for fun and discovered you were good at it. You like solving meaningful problems with simple elegance. You care about the people that will use what you build. You spend time on forums, explainer videos, and tinkering: you can find an answer when you need it. You are looking for an opportunity to learn and grow much faster than you could in a large company. You seek independence with mentors in the wings. You are interested in learning the full stack: embedded firmware architecture, front end design and UX, unit testing and verification, and data analytics. You enjoy the satisfaction that comes from successful bug hunting. You embrace working on a regulated medical device because you can see the potential for lasting impact.

  • Senior Engineering Technician

You are recognized for your versatility and bring a broad range of skills and experience. You are comfortable doing R&D prototyping, but you also know how to lead in production environments, including cleanrooms. You are precise and nimble with your hands, and you are always looking for ways to improve existing methods. You appreciate the consistency of repetitive tasks, but you are also interested in learning new things. You may have experience in incoming inspection techniques or soldering skills or taught yourself programming. You appreciate the independence and growth opportunities of a start-up, and you also value the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
